Two professional group facilitators and certified coaches support participants to develop a sense of self to creatively engage in life. Attendees practise new behaviours and engender new beliefs that move them towards authentic living with a connection to others & confident self-expression. \n___________________________________ \nQuest founders Ade + Darren talk about The Quest Program \n____________________________________ \nThe Quest Programme goes to the heart of our challenge to fulfil our lives. \n“The trick for the gay man himself is to resolve the conflict between the inner life and the outer one and become the authentic\, gay person that lies buried beneath.” – Out of the Shadows: Reimagining Gay Men’s Lives by Walt Odets \nSince 2011\, The Quest has been empowering gay\, bi & queer men to rediscover their wholehearted selves and redefine their understanding of community –– within a safe & supportive environment alongside a diverse range of people. The Quest’s work enables enriched relationships with a deeper understanding of personal interactions & motivations –– through self-acceptance & compassion\, and the social awareness to embrace new possibilities. \nBy attending this interactive & engaging weekend participants will: \n\nGain a deeper understanding of how their upbringing has impacted their emotional development.\nDevelop an increased awareness of their limiting beliefs\, behaviours & habits.\nActively begin a healing process.\nIdentify ways to improve their sense of self & relationships.\nEstablish next steps for themselves\, their relationships\, and the world we live in.\nExperience support & intimacy from a group of gay\, bi and queer men.\nCreate a positive & supportive new network of men.\nGain a greater sense of living authentically as a gay\, bi or queer man in today’s world.\n\n \nThe programme itinerary is in three phases: \nPreparation: Attendees will receive six daily reflection emails prior to the face-to-face gathering. \nComing Together: Our group workshop sessions are held over a three-day weekend: Friday (10am – 4.45pm)\, Saturday (10am – 5.30pm) and Sunday (10am – 5.30pm). \nIntegration: Attendees take part in a seven-day email check-in starting on the Monday after our weekend together. There will then be three virtual sessions where attendees explore a range of topics to enable them embed insights from the weekend. \nThe weekend experience will include discussions & sharing in pairs\, triads\, small and large groups.
