SUMMARY:The Quest Wednesday: Ripening into Wisdom: A celebration of growth + reflection
DESCRIPTION:The Quest Wednesdays are bi monthly (virtual) gatherings bringing together gay\, bi & queer men to pause\, connect and have wholehearted conversations. The sessions are facilitated by the Quest team headed by Adé Adéniji & Darren Brady\, Founders of The Quest Collective.\nDuring our time together there will be opportunities to participate in small breakout groups to muse and reflect on the theme and respond to some exploratory questions. \nThis weeks theme: Ripening into Wisdom: A celebration of growth\, reflection\, and the gifts of later life. \nWe gather from 18.50 and start promptly at 7pm.( Participants will not be allowed to join after the group commitments at the beginning of the session have been made.) There will also be the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the facilitated part of the evening. \nThe gatherings will take place online\, via Zoom – the web-based video conferencing tool. DESCRIPTION:The Quest Mosaic are facilitated gatherings for Black\, Asian and Other Racialised Minority gay\, bi & queer men coming together to connect\, share experiences and build community. \nEach session has a different theme as the focal point\, with opportunities for attendees to participate in small breakout groups to muse\, reflect and respond to some exploratory questions. \nEach gathering is self-contained\, so attendees don’t need to have attended previous sessions. \nThe sessions are facilitated by Ade Adeniji & Sonny Thaker. \nThe theme for 18 October is “**Between Us: Connection / Disconnection -** *Exploring the spaces where we meet—and where we miss each other*.” \nIn this Quest Mosaic gathering\, we turn toward the tender terrain of connection and disconnection—what it means to feel seen\, held\, and understood\, and what it means when we don’t. As racialised minority gay\, bi\, and queer men\, our relationships often carry both deep resonance and quiet ache. Through inquiry\, reflection and shared presence\, we’ll honour the threads that bind us and the gaps that shape us. As racialised minority gay\, bi\, and queer men\, we carry endings that are personal\, cultural\, and collective.
