DESCRIPTION:WE ARE BACK! AFTER OUR JANUARY BREAK! \nThe Quest Wednesdays are bi monthly (virtual) gatherings bringing together gay\, bi & queer men to pause\, connect and have wholehearted conversations. The sessions are facilitated by the Quest team headed by Adé Adéniji & Darren Brady\, Founders of The Quest for Gay Men. \nEach week a different theme will be the focal point of the gathering. During our time together there will be opportunities to participate in small breakout groups to muse and reflect on the theme and respond to some exploratory questions. \nThis weeks theme (inspired by Brené Browns new book ‘Atlas of the Heart’) : Places we go when things are uncertain. \n‘Places’ may be our thoughts\, feelings\, behaviours\, or actual locations! \nWe gather from 18.50 and start promptly at 7pm.( Participants will not be allowed to join after the group commitments at the beginning of the session have been made.) There will also be the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the facilitated part of the evening. \nThe gatherings will take place online\, via Zoom – the web-based video conferencing tool. It can help to motivate and support inspired action. \n~ The creative process moves the vision from our head to our hearts through our hands.~ The visual reminder supports us in maintaining connection to what we want and a reminder of why we want it. \nI hope that you can make it and I look forward to seeing you there! \nCome along and join this inspiring conversation. DESCRIPTION:“Creativity is the foundation of all change” \nWe have to be able to creatively imagine a new way of being before we can make it happen. \nWhen our creativity is blocked\, shut down or has become inaccessible\, change becomes harder. \nWe begin this Sunday with the first part of a series of Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way” and how to rediscover and reclaim your creative self. \nThe first part is “Recovering a Sense of Safety” and will be a weaving of exercises\, discussion and reflective writing and sharing. This session initiates your creative recovery. The tasks and exercises aim at allowing you to establish a sense of safety\, which will enable you to explore your creativity with less fear. \nIf you are serious about change\, this is a great place to begin. \nRe-imagination: Re-markable Men takes a new direction for the Autumn. \nThis is the beginning of a new direction for Remarkable Men. DESCRIPTION:The Gifts of Imperfection experiential programme\n\n\nThe Gifts of Imperfection programme\, based on the bestselling book by Dr Brené Brown\, is about learning to be wholehearted – which is to engage with the world from a place of worthiness.
